So, what do we have available?

Tri-State Emergency Team operates two motor vehicles which include a 6 passenger Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck outfitted with a winch system and a Kenwood mobile radio system.

Our second vehicle is a customized, mission ready 6 passenger Ford F450 Super Duty, Tactical vehicle, equipped with a Kenwood TKR-750 VHF FM Repeater, a 26-foot telescopic antenna with a high-power output of 50 watts. This vehicle also has a spacious and climate-controlled occupant compartment suitable for dive teams to don and doff scuba gear during dive operations, act as a shelter for victims or rescue crews during critical incidents & inclement weather or used as command post.

Tri-State also operates two boats. These vessels have unique characteristics that allow the deployment of divers and rescuers to a wide range of water and shoreline conditions.

Our first boat is a 16-foot Boston Whaler with a 90HP Evinrude outboard engine capable of speeds of 30 MPH.

Our second boat is a Quicksilver rigid hull inflatable (aka Zodiac) with a 25 HP Mercury outboard engine and a Minn Kota 12v/32 lb thrust electric trolling motor. A benefit to this vessel is its shallow draft allowing it to operate in very shallow water and its ability to be beached easily if necessary.  Each boat is outfitted with a Garmin Echomap 73 SV navigation and underwater sonar imaging system.
